Reading, taking a walk, listening to music, writing, having some tea, or just drawing for a bit always helps me a bit. When I do these things, I feel calmer and more at peace when I have something else to focus on even if it's one of those simple joys.

Consistency compounds! I have found listing small tasks daily leads to big things. It isn't easy sometimes to stay consistent but once you see progress you don't want to give it up.
