A few moments of routine calm to keep one's goals in mind sounds like a good way to curb impulsive buying. It's easier to connect to a personal goal, or a "money why", when shopping and return a "just because" item to the shelf.
When it comes to getting in a more positive headspace the things that help me most are having a good meal, listening to good music, having time to journal and script for my daily goals, and listening to quality content while I work. Bonus boost if I have some incense or candles to light during the day. All together things seem more peaceful, and I've noticed that I'm able to focus a lot better overall. Great piece you wrote here and I'm sure these tips will do a lot of good in someone's life.
