In the darkest places, you find clarity.
The Marina was always my spot. Listening in gratitude to be here. Not dead or in jail is a great life to me.
When I was alone, I would always dream of being higher. Higher than I was that day.
No matter where I’m at in life, I’m always thinking of a higher place. It’s in a tug of war with embracing the moment.
"Be better than yesterday" is the motto. It will provide a foundation when needed the most.
Hope, faith, and patience.
Patience was the hardest thing to embrace. It sucks because it never gives you the answer on how long you have to be patient for. Is it three years, three months, or three days?
The answer is out of our control. But the right action can get us closer.
In difficult conditions, recover quickly. Get positively busy. Work more, think more, grow more.
I found loyalty with my time. Showering in the shared bathroom between her two roommates became a weekly high for me. It was the little things I missed, like a comfortable bed.
She didn’t know where I was, just knew I was safe from my morning texts. I was embarrassed, felt low. I was trying hard and figuring it out.
She never judged and displayed the highest care and love for who I was that day.
2020 was a different world, but the time was like magic for me.
In 2019, I spent some time at a meditation retreat where my spirit was uplifted, and I walked out different than the person who walked in.
Soon after, even with continued ups and downs, everything aligned over time. I continued to take the steps toward what I wanted out of life.
I never gave up and never will.
The condition of your life is based on your willpower. Are you willing to not give up? Are you willing to fulfill what you want?
Your will to have something overpowers difficult conditions, hard work, and sacrifices.
Good day,
