If people internalize and understand what you've laid out in this post, it would be a huge leap forward for them. Redefining your personal relationship with--and attitude towards--money is the only way for someone to truly get off the paycheck-to-paycheck treadmill. The spreadsheet is fine, but you need to get a grip on your behavioral shortcomings around money. Your money journey is long, and if done right, it can be a richer, happier trip.
I appreciate your words Cosmo. Your insights are well said and once we understand our behaviors and redefine our relationship with it, every tool we use becomes that much more powerful.
Absolutely. I achieved financial independence, and now my wife and I are enjoying the freedom it affords us. My book and my newsletter are my humble attempt to pay it forward. It seems to me that we share a similar mission. I'm glad I stumbled upon your Substack this morning...I've enjoyed several of your articles already...keep up the great work!
That’s incredible—congratulations on reaching financial independence and creating a life of freedom! I love that you’re using your book and newsletter to pay it forward. It really does sound like we share the same mission of helping others build lasting financial wellness. I’m so glad you found my Substack and are enjoying the articles—thank you for the kind words and for sharing your journey!
My biggest fear would be repeating the financial ruin present in my family but that being said my biggest dream is to feel safe, comfortable, and steady with my finances as you mentioned in this article. Not everyone's financial journey is the same but I think that everyone should strive for lifelong / holistic financial health no matter what their circumstances are.
This is so real and beautiful, exactly where people need to start! The way I discuss money is faith-related, but I've been guiding people in this direction when I speak to them. I haven't articulated it as well as you have here, and will incorporate some of your philosophy into my own!
Thank you so much for sharing this. That means a lot to me. I love that you’re guiding people in this direction through a faith-based lens. It’s powerful when we can meet people where they are and help them shift their relationship with money.
I love your perspective… it’s different and refreshing and like you said, people rarely go deeper. Great job!
Thanks for your words! I appreciate you for being here Shads.

Thanks for being here Pascal!
I get you! I needed to heal things in me to stop hurting myself physically with food and financially with debt.
Glad you were aware and took action Ericka.
